How Can a Sebaceous Cyst On The Scrotum Be Treated?

Hi, so I have a sebaceous cyst on my scrotum. It s been their for almost a year. I had I checked out by a doctor when it first appeared, but he said it would go away eventually and won t cause much trouble. However, it s kinda embarrassing. So I was hoping their could be some home treatments I could perform to help get it to go away. If their is something that could help I would be very happy. Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Sebaceous cyst anywhere on the body, be it scrotum should be removed by surgical excision.
There is no home remedy.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult a General Surgeon for clinical assessment.
Get an appointment for operation if the General Surgeon feels it is necessary.
Do not try anything at home as this can be dangerous and can cause complications of infection and spread and cellulitis.
